As our new Logistics Specialist, you’re here to fuel the fire. You’ll contribute to our mission by keeping every pallet, shipment and partner moving, so GIMBER reaches every glass on time, every time.

Your kick-ass responsibilities:

• Manage warehousing (inbound and outbound flows) and replenishment from our central warehouse
• Own inventory management (FEFO, short BBD, slow movers) and manage the return process
• Ensure correct documentation across delivery notes, SSCC and more
• Drive on-time delivery performance across all shipments, coordinating daily with the Customer Specialist on delivery status and issues
• Drive flow optimisation (consolidation, direct flows, pallet-parcel thresholds) and manage euro pallet exchange
• Be the first point of contact for 3PL and transport firms, and run quarterly meetings with 3PL, transport firms and Key Accounts
• Lead yearly rate and SLA negotiations, check monthly invoices (storage, picking, inbound and outbound cost drivers) and own the yearly logistics budget
• Analyse data to forecast future logistics needs and inform product mix and packaging decisions
• Track SLA and performance KPIs: OTIF, inventory accuracy, GM2 and logistics profitability
• Lead EDI implementations with retailers and logistics partners, and coordinate automation projects with 3PL partners to drive improvement projects on cost, service and scalability

Role Objective
Ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of products from warehouse to customer.
 Manage warehousing, transportation and inventory to achieve strong OTIF and inventory accuracy.
 Coordinate logistics partners and ensure agreed service levels and operational standards are met.
 Optimize logistics flows, costs and processes through data, automation and continuous improvement.
 Support a reliable and scalable logistics operation that enables business growth.

• Has the right foundation with a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field?
• Brings a solid dose of 3 to 5 years’ experience in logistics, warehousing or transport management, ideally in FMCG or food & beverage?
• Possesses sharp analytical and negotiation skills to manage rates, SLAs and KPIs?
• Is a natural, process-driven optimiser who’s always looking for the next efficiency gain?  
• Speaks English fluently? (Dutch or French is a major plus!)
• Works independently, hunts for opportunities, and doesn't wait for permission to take initiative?
• Is a true team player who loves collaborating across Customer Service, 3PL partners, transport firms and Key Accounts?
• Comfortable owning a budget and negotiating directly with suppliers and transport partners?
